After my Nana passed away, I inherited a box of sterling silver flatware. Although these abjects are beautiful I have no use for them. This project is reconfiguring silver flatware into heirloom jewelry pieces. Forms are drawn from objects of affection in our family home in Nova Scotia as well as reinterpreting traditional heirloom object forms.

This project is called Mackay, for my grandmother Margaret Anne Mackay Wieche and the name that we share.
