Suit Exploration” began with a hanging metal hanger sculpture which had a suit taken apart and sewn back on around the metal structure. Following this piece I began exploring the image of the suit through performance, documented in stills below, and installation across three separate shows. This work culminated in the “Disseminated Self Portrait” and “SJP” found at the bottom, both works were featured in an exhibition titled Peeper. These pieces deal with gendered clothing and the ways in which I can impose my own hand between and through the fabrics of traditional masculinity.
